Dapto Public School has a strong emphasis on the creative arts. As part of this, students participate in regular visual arts making and appreciating activities through our release from face to face teaching program.
Our school has a specialist visual arts teacher who encourages students to create in a variety of forms including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. Students also learn how to improve their art by learning about artists, their artworks and their different interpretations.
Our visual arts program has been running for a number of years and has achieved various accolades including successes at a national level. Our school also holds an annual art gallery where all student work is celebrated. At Dapto Public School, we believe that all students are artists.
