Although labelled 'Parent Helpers', we welcome, parents, grandparents and other family members to assist us in many different areas throughout the school.
All Parent Helpers must sign a Prohibited Employment Declaration Form at the office. This needs to be signed only once, unless your circumstances change.
All Parent Helpers are also required to sign in and sign out of the Visitor Register held in the office at each visit. There are Visitor Badges at the front office for Parent Helpers to wear, for identification purposes.
Parent Helpers assist in the classrooms with listening to children read.
Please contact your child's teacher to enquire about Home Reading.
At certain times throughout the year large amounts of home reading books and library books often require covering, and during that time we sometimes request (through the Newsletter) assistance from parent helpers in the covering of these books. If you are a parent who is unable to attend the school due to commitments, but you still like to be involved, we can often arrange for books & covering to be sent home.
The school's Uniform Shop is open on Tuesday mornings between 8.30am and 9.15am, and Thursday afternoons between 2.30pm and 3.15pm.
The Uniform Shop is located adjacent to the Administration Office.
The Uniform Shop is run by Lowes, and so all uniform items are also available at the Lowes store in Dapto Mall if you are unable to visit the Uniform Shop during it's opening hours. Visit the school office for a Uniform Price List or
Many of our parents and grandparents assist us with the sewing of costumes for our Dance Group. The school has some sewing machines available and there is always plenty of hand sewing to do.
Some of our parents also assist with the building of sets for our Dance Group. You don't need to be talented, just willing to lend a hand. Please contact the Dance Group staff if you would like to help.
